Apple Releases New iPhone That Is Smaller and Cheaper. Check It Out!

Apple has released a new iPhone that is apparently not the successor to their latest flagship phones, but instead a lighter, more compact version packed with good internals and great performance all in one small device. The new iPhone SE appears to be a revamped, improved version of the iPhone 5S, which is a 4-inch screen device. The newly released phone is set to become the smallest in Apple's smartphone lineup. The idea behind the device was that some people tend to favor smaller, compact smartphones as opposed to the 4.7 inch screen of the iPhone 6 and the huge real estate 5.5 inch of the iPhone 6 Plus. VP of Apple's product marketing Greg Joswiak said “Some people simply love smaller phones. And the 4in phone is often their first iPhone. Some people asked and pleaded with us. So we’re calling it the iPhone SE. Our most powerful 4in phone ever.”

The externals of the smartphone closely resemble of the iPhone 5S, sporting a metal frame, 4-inch screen, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, and a camera lens that sits flush behind the back of the phone. Color options available for the iPhone SE are black, white, gold and rose gold. But the hardware is the most improved, making this compact smartphone a beast that rivals the performance of the 6S, with Apple's A9 processor, NFC chip that supports Apple Pay and an improved 12-megapixel camera. The iPhone SE also doubles the processing power of the 5S with almost as four times improved graphics performance, making it one of the most powerful 4-inch devices out in the market, making it a compact beast perfect for individuals who prefer smaller-sized phones. The iPhone SE is also much cheaper than the iPhone 6S, but rivaling its performance which makes it an excellent choice for people who want a bang-for-their-buck smartphone device. The iPhone SE is set to be released on March 31st. Pre-orders are available starting March 24th, costing from $399 in the US, or £359 in the UK, for 16GB of storage; $499 in the US, or £439 in the UK, with 64GB of storage.
